Erie Horizon series
This set of four images were taken over a one-year period, extending approximately from March 1, 2002 through March 1, 2003. My intent is to show the variety of looks the lake and sky offer ... no two are alike. Many people take the presence of the lake for granted and don't appreciate how often it changes moods.

Each image represents approximately a three-month period, or one season. The images were made 2-3 days apart on the average. The photos were taken on film with the same lens, from the same location each time. The time of day the photos were taken varied, which helps to give the images a distinct look. In toning each image, I attempted to keep the colors and contrast as true as possible. The photos in each panel are arranged in chronological order from left to right, top to bottom. Presentation of the final prints would be as four sqaure prints, mounted separately and hung horizontally, reading left to right, starting with Spring.

Series is available individually or as a set.

Pinhole Photography
In 2005, I began working with a wooden pinhole camera that accepts 4x5 film holders. Most of my new work has been
in this unique medium.
